Chocolate Covered Dates

INGREDIENTS

  • 20 dried, pitted dates
  • 20 pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1 container of dark chocolate candy coating
  • 1 cookie sheet
  • Parchment paper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Set dates on parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  2. Stuff each date with 1 pecan half and 1 tsp. of almond butter.
  3. Close dates firmly.
  4. Melt chocolate per package instructions.
  5. Place chocolate coating package on or next to parchment paper
  6. Using a fork to hold the dates, dip and coat each date in chocolate, letting the excess chocolate drip back into package.
  7. Return coated dates to parchment paper.
  8. Place cookie sheet in fridge to cool for 20-30 minutes.
  9. Enjoy!
