Cranberry Apple Crisp

Ingredients
  • 3 cups sliced peeled apples
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 5 tablespoons cold butter
Instructions
  1. In large bowl, combine apples, cranberries and lemon juice. In a small bowl toss together sugar, salt and flour. Toss to coat. Pour mixture into 11x7-inch baking dish; set aside.
  2. In medium bowl, combine dry ingredients for topping. Cut in cold butter with pastry cutter until crumbly.
  3. Sprinkle mixture over apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until fruit is tender.
