Hatch Green Chile Pulled Pork Tacos

Ingredients
- 3 pound lean pork loin roast
- 1 teaspoon each Montreal Steak Seasoning and garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper and ground cumin
- 1 small onion, cut in half and sliced thin
- 3 mild Hatch green chilies, roasted
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup salsa verde
- 12 corn tortillas
Instructions
- Place pork, fat side up into crock pot. Sprinkle evenly with seasonings. Arrange sliced onion around the sides of the pork.
- Remove skins from roasted peppers, open carefully, de-seed and lay across they top of the pork. Add water, cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Remove pork from crock-pot. Carefully remove peppers and onions and reserve. Pour cooking liquid through strainer and reserve. Discard fat from pork and using two forks, pull meat apart to shred.
- Place shredded meat back in crock-pot. Slice chilies and add with onions to shredded meat. Stir in green salsa and about ½ cup of reserved liquid or enough to moisten meat mixture.
- Serve on corn tortillas.
