Steamed Broccoli with Lemon Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1 bunch broccoli florets (about 1 pound)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
  1. In a steamer set over boiling water, steam broccoli, covered, until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes
  2. While broccoli is steaming, combine minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  3. Heat garlic mixture over moderate heat for about 1 minute.
  4. Toss broccoli with garlic mixture and serve.
