Strawberry Coconut Nests
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) package light cream cheese
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (13 oz) Angel food cake
- 1 cup sweetened coconut
- 2 pints fresh strawberries, sliced
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 (8 oz) carton lite whipped topping
Instructions
- Slice cake into 12 slices; set aside.
- Combine cream cheese, sugar, milk and vanilla; beat until smooth.
- Frost top and sides of cake slices with cream cheese mixture; sprinkle with coconut.
- In small bowl, combine sliced strawberries with ¼ cup sugar; set aside.
- At serving time, press indention in center of cake slice. Spoon on starwberries and top
- with a dollop of whipped topping.
