The funnest and yummiest way to get your kids excited about Easter!
Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough (I used Annie's)
- 4 ounces Neufchatel cheese, at room temperature
- 2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
- 2 cups mixed berries
Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, and preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place dough on cookie sheet. Using your hands, form cookie dough into the shape of an Easter egg. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until center is cracked and sides are golden-brown. Cool completely to room temperature.
- Meanwhile, add Neufchatel cheese and cherry juice to a large mixing bowl. Beat together on high until light and fluffy. Spread onto cooled cookie crust.
- Top with fresh berries and enjoy!
